HALLOWEEN EVENTS
Hello everyone!
The student council is super excited for halloween, and we hope that you are too! We have decided to run a few halloween events on Monday (October 31st). Here’s a little explanation as to what’s happening.
Find the Ghosts!
Student Council executives and representatives will hide paper cups that have been decorated to look like ghosts throughout the school building. Students between grades 7 and 12 will be asked to look for cups during their free time and place the cups on top the lockers in the main hallway. The grade that collects the most ghost cups will win an amazing prize! Cups will only be placed in the middle school building and the high school building, as well as the cafeteria, gym, courtyard and greentop. Students will be allowed to find cups between 8:00 a.m and 2:40 p.m.
NOTE: MAKE SURE NOT TO LOOK FOR CUPS DURING CLASS OR IN WAYS THAT WILL DISTURB OTHER CLASSES! We want to ensure that everyone is able to have fun this way :)
Photo Booth!
Drop by the cafeteria entrance at around to start taking photos! The photo booth will have fun decorative pieces. It will be taken down at around 3:20 pm so make sure you get there in time to take photos of you and your friends wearing cool costumes! It will stay open throughout most of the day!
Trick or Treating with Class Reps
Don’t you want to do some trick or treating during school?! Throughout the day, class reps will be holding bags of candy. You can receive candy if you win a game of rock-paper-scissors with a rep! A student who loses can only return back to the same rep in around 30 mins, just to be fair :)
Costume contest
Students from grades 7 to 12 will be invited to enter a halloween costume contest during the day. Students that would like to participate will be asked to send a picture of themselves wearing their costume to the StuCo email (seisenstuco@gmail.com) by 12:00 pm. All students participating MUST write their names in the email (even if you are participating as a group) The winners of the costume contest will be announced during 9th period. Students can send their costume to be considered in one of the four categories: best pair/group costume, least effort put into costume, best DIY costume, and most original costume. The winners will be decided by Masae and Thea. The winners will receive a prize!
We wanted to plan a fun activity for you all during period nine. But the administration believes that it’s best for us to have study hall. Therefore, they let us do a lot of fun activities throughout the day! We hope you’re all excited :)
